With 2,660 businesses and community amenities like the forthcoming performing arts theater downtown, we are poised to become a cultural and economic hub in the region. As someone who has served Auburn in various capacities, including Chair of the Wellness Committee and Vice Chair of regional task forces, I have seen firsthand the impact empowered communities can have on policy development. My favorite slogan, “It’s not about me, It’s about all of us,” is not just words but a call to action. It’s essential to create spaces where collaboration and community input are the norms, not the exceptions.
